This interesting and original anime twist on traditional American westerns focuses on Vash, a feared outlaw and gunslinger with an enormous bounty on his head, who's rumored to destroy every town he passes through. In fact, though, Vash is more of a well-meaning dork for whom nothing seems to go right, as he tries to protect the innocent, spread peace, elude the violent bounty hunters pursuing him - and find out who, exactly, he is.
