We currently offer 3 SEO courses – Standard, Advanced and Local SEO.
If you are new to SEO then our standard course will give you an excellent introduction to the subject and will cover all of the basics. This is great for anybody who is learning SEO for the first time or those who have some knowledge but are looking to fill in the gaps. Our Advanced course focusses on Technical SEO. This course is aimed at those who already have some experience of SEO and are perhaps working with larger and more complex websites. This course is still aimed primarily at marketers and web managers and doesn’t require advanced development or coding knowledge.
Our Local SEO course is aimed at anybody who’s website and business has a local focus. We cover all the main elements of local search that you will need - whether you’re a small local business or a large business with multiple locations serving different cities or regions.
Our scheduled courses in the UK run from our office in the Shard, conveniently located right next to London Bridge station. However, we offer private SEO courses that you are able to book for your team at any location within the UK, or globally.
We will provide everything you need for your training sessions, including a laptop. It might be helpful to have access to your website’s admin panel/CMS and the Google Search console property for your website, but this is not essential.
SEO as an industry does not have any recognised qualifications of certifications. Most people working within SEO have built up their knowledge through experience and working directly on optimising websites. Our SEO trainers have years of hands on experience which we share through our training courses.
Our scheduled classroom courses all cost £499+ VAT per person. We are also happy to provide bespoke quotes for private training what will allow you to train multiple team members in one session.
Our Standard and Local SEO courses are great for beginners or those looking to build on some basic knowledge of SEO. You do not need any prior knowledge for these sessions. Our Advanced course assumes a basic knowledge of SEO and many people choose to complete the Standard course before attending this training.
The main concepts of SEO and basic optimisation skills are not difficult to learn. You do not need any technical knowledge or experience to make a start optimising your website. However there are a lot of different elements to SEO including content creation and optimisation, technical SEO and link acquisition so SEO can become quite complex.
You do not need programming or coding skills to start optimising your website. However, some knowledge of the way websites work, and a basic understanding of HTML will help you get started. If you do have programming skills then you’ll be better placed to understand some of the more complex areas of technical SEO.
