Our CEO, Nick Emery Receives CBE in New Year’s Honours List

We are overjoyed to announce that our CEO, Nick Emery has been awarded a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in the recent New Year's Honours list.

This marks an incredible recognition of his significant contributions to the media and marketing industries. Nick is not only our chief executive; he is an industry stalwart whose career has seen him leading Brandtech Media as a founding partner since 2021 and previously serving as Global Chief Executive of Mindshare. His leadership at Jellyfish continues to pave innovative pathways for us and shapes the industry at large.

The CBE is one of five classes of honours awarded in the Order of the British Empire. Instituted by King George V during World War I, it recognises individuals who have made impactful contributions across various sectors, from arts and sciences to public services.

The award stands testament to Nick's remarkable influence and dedication in his field.

Alongside Nick, several other well-known figures from the UK's advertising sector have garnered accolades on this illustrious list. Mark Read, WPP's Chief Executive Officer since 2018; Ashley Tabor-King, President of Global; Josie Dobrin, co-founder and executive chair of Creative Access; Chris Norman, CEO and founder of Good Agency; Colin Morrison, publisher of Flashes & Flames - all received an OBE for their respective services.

Sir Ridley Scott was awarded Knight Grand Cross for his exceptional contributions towards the UK film industry.

As we celebrate these well-deserved recognitions, we're reminded of the profound impact that individuals like Nick Emery have on our industry and beyond.
