Diageo’s Bob Du joins Jellyfish as Managing Director, Singapore

Bob Du brings over 15 years of experience to his new role as Managing Director of our Singapore office, having worked at brands, agencies and technology companies throughout his career. He joins us from Diageo, where he has spent the last six years, most recently as Senior Marketing Partner APAC. Previous experience includes roles at American Express and Luxus Worldwide.

Du is tasked with leading and growing our presence in the region. This will include supporting existing clients including Carlsberg, driving new business and growing the in-market team.

The appointment follows that of Chris Mooney, Head of Google Partnerships APAC who joined us at the end of 2018 to lead our relationship with Google in Singapore. This latest hire will boost our presence in APAC, adding to existing offices in South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and Mumbai.

Rob Pierre, CEO say: “Singapore is fast becoming a hub within the digital economy with many global brands establishing a presence here. As we continue to expand our global footprint, boosting our presence in Asia is the natural next step for us. Bob’s wide-ranging experience across brands, agencies and tech companies makes him the ideal fit for our business.”

Du adds: “Having spent time driving digital transformation on the brand side across APAC, I see a compelling need for businesses that can support clients in managing change. Jellyfish’s position as a digital partner, combining consultancy, agency, technology and training services is accompanied by a high level of transparency and quality of execution. I am extremely excited to be part of the Jellyfish family. Its global partnership with Google is a great differentiator, as is its ethos of growing people to grow the business. That resonates with me because this is a people business and I have a deep passion for growing talent.”
