The cloud has radically changed the way organizations budget for, use, monitor, and account for computing resources. Approaches that worked with on-premises computing no longer work in the cloud.
On this course, you'll learn how to apply FinOps techniques to successfully tame the complexity and disruption that comes with adopting cloud computing.
We’ll start the session by defining FinOps and its genesis in more technical approaches like DevOps, then discuss several real-world scenarios to motivate FinOps development and adoption. We’ll then move on to a more formal cloud-agnostic framework for FinOps adoption, and end the day with a high-level survey of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), cloud-native tools, team structures and related processes you may find useful when implementing FinOps in the real world.
This FinOps Foundations course is available as a private training session that can be delivered via Virtual Classroom or at a location of your choice in the US.
